Anitha Raj, B.Sc.
Managing Director
Ms. Anitha Raj comes from an agriculture-oriented family with generations of experience in land ownership and farming. With over three decades of hands-on experience in cultivating and managing fertile agricultural land, she brings a deep understanding of agriculture and its evolving needs. As Managing Director of Great Indian TechnoSoils Private Limited, she also oversees the operations of UIV Ventures, the flagship company of the group.
B. Durai Raj, MBA., B.Com., B.L.
Director
Mr. B. Durai Raj brings over 25 years of experience across trading, administration, exports and imports. He led Exports & Imports divisions for leading conglomerates, including 3 Sugar Mills and 2 Five Star Hotels, for more than 16 years. He handled a diverse portfolio that included white and raw sugar, cement, steel, marbles and supplies for five-star hotels, including Hotel Le Meridien in Chennai and Coimbatore.
His extensive expertise covers international trading of sugar, spices and agricultural commodities, export and import procedures, trade finance and banking facilities, forward contracts, letters of credit and related documentation, cargo and port operations, laytime calculations, customs and regulatory compliance. He has also developed strong professional relationships with international commodity traders and organisations, including Cargill, Louis Dreyfus, Agrocorp International, Sucden, Bunge and Noble Commodities.
S. Sivaraman
President, Technical
Mr. S. Sivaraman is a highly experienced professional with an academic background in Chemistry, Textile Technology and Chemicals, holding B.Sc., B.Sc. (Tech) and M.Sc. (Tech) qualifications, with his postgraduate studies involving both academic coursework and research, With over 45 years of experience in the chemical and textile sectors.
He has held senior positions with organizations including Premier Mills, Coimbatore; Hindostan Mills Limited, Mumbai; and United Bleachers, Coimbatore. He has also served as Managing Director of Sri Vinayaka Processors, Erode, and as Executive Director of Al Lan Textiles, Perundurai.
V. H. Suresh
President, Corporate Finance
Mr. V. H. Suresh is a Chemistry graduate and an experienced banking professional with extensive knowledge of banking, finance and financial operations. A retired Deputy General Manager of Indian Overseas Bank, he has led various banking departments during his career.
He was also among the key officials involved in establishing the bank's first branch in Dubai, bringing valuable experience in banking operations, financial management and institutional relationships.
R. Baskaran
Manager, Sales
Mr. R. Basker is a Commerce graduate with an MBA in Marketing, bringing strong knowledge of market dynamics, customer segments and sales and marketing operations. He has professional experience with Arunodaya Fertilizers Private Limited and Sivananda Organics, giving him valuable exposure to the agricultural and fertilizer sectors.
His understanding of markets and customer requirements supports GITS in developing strong sales relationships and expanding its market presence.
B. Saravanan
Manager, Purchase & Logistics
Mr. B. Saravanan is a Commerce graduate with experience in materials procurement, purchasing and logistics. He has developed a strong network of logistics and lorry transport operators across South India, supporting efficient procurement and movement of materials.
His purchasing and procurement experience includes working with Magnum Polymers India Ltd., Access Net, Prakruthi Marketing Services and Naval Constructions. His expertise contributes to GITS's procurement efficiency, supplier coordination and logistics operations.
